The Georgia General Assembly adjourned sine die on June 26 after a session interrupted and delayed by COVID-19.
Before adjourning, the General Assembly notably passed a hate crimes bill, which was signed into law by Gov. Brian Kemp on Friday, and a budget reduction of nearly 10%.
This $2.2 billion reduction is the largest reduction since the 2008 recession.
The does affect lobbyist reporting. The last semi-monthly report for state-level and State Transportation Board lobbyists is due on July 1.

The Arizona Legislature adjourned sine die on May 26 after the Senate’s swift move to adjourn was approved.
The Senate had voted to end the session when it convened previously on May 8.
However, this vote was met with opposition by Republican lawmakers.
The sine die adjournment leaves hundreds of bills dead that had been progressing through the Capitol before lawmakers postponed the session in March.
Gov. Doug Ducey is expected to call lawmakers back to the Capitol for a special session in the coming weeks.
In this session they will deal with coronavirus-related legislation and the state budget.

During the 2020 session, the Legislature considered but failed to pass any of the proposed ethics bills.
Bills include changes to revolving door restrictions and the establishment of a centralized local lobbyist registration system.
Additionally, this does not affect any lobbyist dates reporting.

Gov. Jim Justice called the West Virginia Legislature to convene a special session to address improvements to public education and pay raises for school teachers.
Speaker Roger Hanshaw said the House would go through a feedback gathering process that could take a couple months or more, and that the special session would likely meet a couple days each month before the new fiscal year begins on July 1.
The regular session is scheduled to adjourn sine die on March 9.

A gift notification is due three weeks after the adjournment of the regular legislative session and will be due March 17.

An unanticipated, overnight fight over a minimum wage hike prolonged the adjournment of Delaware’s Legislature until after 8 a.m. Sunday.
The $816.3 million bond bill passed along mostly party lines after a compromise had been reached that will allow workers under age 18 to be paid up to 50 cents below the minimum wage.
Other notable bills that passed include a $16.8 million tax decrease for casinos and $500 bonuses for current state employees and pensioners.
The next two-year session will convene in January.

The Utah Legislature adjourned a one day special session sine die on November 16, 2017. Lawmakers unanimously passed a bill to fix a complicated gas tax distribution formula in order to evenly distribute revenue and reflect the legislative intent of the original bill passed last year.
Lawmakers also passed a bill clarifying the definitions of solid waste and solid waste management facility, seeking approval from Gov. Gary Herbert who vetoed similar legislation earlier this year and requested changes.
Per Utah law, the ban on contributions during a special legislative session concludes at the time of adjournment.
