The Nevada Legislature adjourned sine die on June 6 after failing to pass all five necessary budget bills.
In the rush of the final session day, the public funding bill for a relocated Oakland Athletics stadium failed to pass, leaving the teams future in question.
Gov. Joe Lombardo is expected to call a special session in the next few days to pass the final budget bill dealing with capital improvements and to further discuss the plans for the new Athletics stadium.
This does affect lobbyist reporting. The final report for the regular session is due July 6.

The Florida Legislature adjourned sine die on April 30. Among the measures passed was the record $101.5 billion budget bills. Other measures passed include the controversial election reform, anti-protest, and transgender athletes bills.

The legislative session ended on the 84th day, sooner than the scheduled 90-day session.
During the session lawmakers passed a balanced budget, enacted legislation to assist military families, and increased the maximum fine for violations of the Political Accountability and Disclosure Act.
The lobbyist statement of activity is due 45 days after the end of session on July 15.

Gov. Kim Reynolds stated she will decide whether to call a special session of the Iowa Legislature in September. A special session may be needed to fix state budgetary shortfalls.
Reynolds has the authority to transfer money from the cash reserve fund if the deficit is $50 million or below.
If the deficit exceeds $50 million the Legislature would need to be called back for a special session.
