Alabama Special Election Scheduled

Gov. Kay Ivey called a special election for state House District 38 following the resignation of the Rep. Debbie Wood, who is moving out of state. The special primary election will be held on October 21 with a runoff held on November 18, if necessary. The special general election will be held on February 3, 2026.
